To enhance COMMON conservatory’s efforts to support dance artists, particularly those who are non-white, we are launching COMMON contribution. Initiated and taught by Alysia L. Johnson of Hubbard Street, all proceeds from the COMMON contribution open contemporary classes will provide free dance classes at COMMON conservatory to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) dance artists.

You are welcome to contribute with money or movement. There are two ways to RSVP for class this Sunday, June 20th:

  1. Sign up and donate online through Mindbody to support BIPOC artists in Chicago

  2. Register for FREE by sending us an email with your full name

For your safety, space is limited; pre-registration is required.

If you cannot attend class, you can still support this program by making a tax-deductible donation online here. All donations received between June 20, 2021 - July 18, 2021, will be reserved to support BIPOC dance artists in Chicago.
